Ben's Country Music Show Week of the 4th August 2025 – Tribute to Jeannie Seely and Arcadia from Alison Krauss

This week's Ben's Country Music Show is a special episode dedicated to the legendary Jeanie Seely, who passed away at the age of 85. We'll be celebrating the life and incredible career of this Grand Ole Opry icon, a trailblazer who famously challenged its dress code and performed at over 5,300 shows. We'll be hearing two of her classic songs. Our Album of the Week is the beautiful new record from Alison Krauss and Union Station, Arcadia. Ben praises its "incandescent beauty," and we'll be playing two tracks that showcase its perfect blend of traditional and modern sounds. Elsewhere in the show, we've got some of the hottest new music, including Luke Combs's record-breaking new single, a track from Ashley McBryde that fans have been waiting years for, and a song from Trisha Yearwood featuring Hailey Whitters.
