Ben's Country Music Show Week of the 3rd February 2025 – The Grammys, Beyoncé, Johhny Cash and Lainey Wilson
This week, Ben’s Country Music Show features a wide-ranging mix of country, roots, Americana, and bluegrass, beginning with Lainey Wilson’s “Country is Cool Again,” taken from her 2024 album Whirlwind. February’s Artist of the Month is Dierks Bentley, ahead of his headline appearance at next month’s C2C Festival, with selections from his 2010 album Up on the Ridge. Marking the 60th anniversary of Orange Blossom Special, the Vault segment revisits Johnny Cash’s 1965 release with its title track and “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right”. We reflect on the passing of Ben Vaughn, President and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville, and talk about the Grammy Awards, including Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter success.
