On this week's edition of Ben's Country Music Show, there is a huge announcement. Ben is back in his hometown of Melton Mowbray and live on local station 103 The Eye. He is joined by Dean Rees, CEO of Melton Mowbray Town Estate, to announce the brand new Country on the Eye festival of country, folk and roots music. The festival is presented by MMTE in association with Ben's Country Music Show, and the inaugural event will take place on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th June 2026, featuring performers from the UK and USA and several old friends of the programme.
